Notes:
Load balance lay 4-7 switch:
Provide prioritized transmission based on response time and balance the traffic between servers. Used for application control on layers 4 and 7 for communications with the throughput over 1G. Allow content distribution for streaming media. Allow task lock based on IP addresses and SSL task numbers and provide handling of high-speed and secure e-commerce.
Provide high security while performance unchanged. The security policy includes destination addresses, source addresses, service type and URL of content. Support load balance of firewalls.
System configuration support CLI and GUI modes. Support SNMP and RMON, provide user-friendly management tools.
Select the optimal server through URL, cookie and information on available resources for high-speed WEB content transfer.
Support load balance of firewalls, provide scalable secure services for back-end databases and applications so as to be free of DoS attacks.
Backboard switching capability of 20G and port throughput of 1G.
Support configuration modes of transparency, proxy server and reverse proxy server, etc.
Provide 8 GE ports and 8 FE ports.
Support all the TCP&UDP protocols, support linear NAT, and complete IP routing protocols.
Allow optimization of HTTP, FTP and streaming media transmission.
Support SLA.
Backbone traffic sense collection device:
Support RMON/RMON2, SMON, high-capacity RMON, ATM RMON and Switch Monitoring of IETF and RFC standards.
Allow full-duplex sense for one GE optical link or half-duplex sense for two links and real-time data collection.
Support client-side consoles for RMON/RMON2 data analysis and allow full integration with Cisco Works2000.
Allow remote control through BOOTP and TFTP.
Create logs with collected data and create trend analysis report on the basis of logs.
Support packet capturing and disassembly on layer 7.
Management software for network equipment:
Provide a modular platform and add relevant management modules on the platform basis, as required for management. Ease of upgrade, management and maintenance. Allow full control of Cisco Catalyst switches and routers.
Allow automatic search of network topology with seed devices.
Monitor switch and router traffics and the operation status in a real-time manner.
Manage switch and router configuration files.
Switch and router operation logs, round-the-clock operation status reports.
Draw traffic trend sketches.
Web-based user interface for management.
Management software for dial-up access control:
1.Support dial-up authentication standards like TACACS+, RADIUS, etc.
1. WEB-based GUI.
2. Allow seamless integration with Cisco dial-up servers.
Modifications in Package 6:
1.1 System configuration
The network management system consists of a set of network management software, network management hardware platform and the expansion of the existing systems. The additional components for reconfiguration should be fully compatible with the existing equipment. See Table 1.2-1 for the specific configuration for expansion of the billing part of the existing systems.
