Landy Wen (born on July 16, 1979 in Taipei) is a popular Taiwanese singer. A member of the Atayal ethnic group, she is one of the few Taiwanese aborigines to become a musical star. And her rumored relationship to the "King of Asian Pop" Jay Chou has often become the focus of media attention.

 

Her first notable appearance was back in 1999, in a duet with Jacky Wu for "Roof Top". Her voice is sweet, smooth and unique and the song was enjoyable and gave listeners a strong impression.

 

She released six albums: Sixth Sense (1999), A Little Wild (2001), Blue Rain (2002), The Wen Effect (2004), Love Comes Back (2005) and Hot Wave (2007). She returned to the music scene with a vengeance. It had been two long years since she last stood in the limelight. She was all charged up for her new album, and even especially trained to perform the Vogue and Slam dance elements for her new songs. Sparing no efforts to please new and old fans alike, she aimed for excellence once more. The hottest song goes to the main hit of this album –"Hot Wave". Kenji Wu wrote the lyrics. This song is actually a retro-produced but what is its specialty is that the extra addition of many modern elements in the dancing part. Either the lyrics or the melody of this song exposes the new template of dance music. By listening to the sing, it is guaranteed that it will move your body successfully.

 

Her "Wen-style" love songs are generally nice and sad. However, the wildly looking can be juxtaposed with an elegant lady in a beautiful dress. She has distinct music styles, from expressive ballads in a gentle feminine style to up-tempo songs for those looking for some dynamic tracks.

 

The Taiwanese dancing queen is such a hot babe that she always looks awesome while dancing. Her shake is kind of "booty popping", but she makes it real fast: 100 times per minute.
